01Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information that we handle through our website skybizconsultancy.com, and through enquiries made to us by the website form, email, telephone and WhatsApp.
By using our website or contacting us, you acknowledge that you have read this policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not submit personal information through the website. We refer to the UAE Federal Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and other applicable laws as relevant considerations in how we handle personal information. We do not claim that any particular law is automatically satisfied by publishing this policy.

03Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how you deal with us. It may include:
- Enquiry details: your name, email address, telephone number (with country code), the service you are interested in and any message you choose to write.
- Communications: the content of emails, telephone calls and WhatsApp messages you send us, including your WhatsApp number and profile name, and any files you attach.
- Information for services you request: where you ask us to assist with matters such as business setup, corporate bank account assistance, accounting and bookkeeping, tax assistance or document clearing, we may need identification details, company and licence documents, ownership and management information, financial records and similar documents relevant to the service.
- Technical information: information that is generated when you visit the website, such as your IP address, browser type, device information and the pages requested. This is typically recorded in server logs by our hosting provider.
- Form security data: to protect our enquiry form from spam and abuse, the form uses a security token, a hidden field and a rate limit that keeps a salted, hashed form of your IP address for a short period (about one hour). It does not store your raw IP address for this purpose.
- Temporary form values: if a submission is rejected (for example because a required field is missing), the details you typed are kept for a short time, about 15 minutes, so the form can be filled in again for you. They are not otherwise stored on the website.
- Email delivery record: the website keeps a short list of recent enquiry emails showing only the time and whether the mail system accepted them, so that we can diagnose delivery problems. It contains no names, email addresses or message text.
Please do not include passport copies, Emirates ID details, bank details or other sensitive documents in the website enquiry form. We will tell you if and how to send documents once your enquiry progresses.
04How We Collect Information
- Website form: when you submit the consultation or contact form on our website.
- Email, telephone and WhatsApp: when you contact us or we contact you at your request.
- Directly from you when you provide documents or information for a service.
- Automatically through your browser and our hosting environment when you visit the website.
- From third parties you have asked us to deal with, such as a bank or a government authority, where this is needed to carry out the service you requested.
05How We Use Your Information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your enquiry and discuss the services you are interested in;
- prepare quotations and, where you proceed, deliver the agreed services;
- communicate with you about your enquiry or engagement, including by email, telephone and WhatsApp;
- carry out identity, due-diligence and verification checks where these are required by law or by an authority or bank involved in your matter;
- keep business, accounting and administrative records;
- protect the website and our business against spam, abuse and fraud, and keep our systems secure;
- understand how the website is used and improve it; and
- comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
We do not sell personal information. Details you submit through the enquiry form are used to respond to your enquiry, as stated on the form, and are not shared for marketing purposes.
06Legal Bases for Processing, Where Applicable
Where data protection law requires us to have a legal basis for handling personal information, we rely on one or more of the following, as applicable to the situation:
- Your consent, for example when you tick the consent box on our enquiry form. You can withdraw consent at any time by contacting us, although this does not affect handling that already took place.
- Steps requested by you before, or in order to perform, an agreement, such as preparing a quotation or providing an agreed service.
- Legal obligations, such as record-keeping, tax, anti-money-laundering or other regulatory requirements that apply to us.
- Legitimate interests, such as keeping our website secure and managing our business, where permitted by law and not overridden by your rights.
07Business Consultation and Document Handling
Business setup, corporate bank account assistance, accounting and bookkeeping, corporate tax and VAT assistance and document clearing usually involve documents that contain personal and financial information about you, your shareholders, directors, employees or other people connected with your business.
- We aim to ask only for the information and documents that are relevant to the service you request.
- We use your documents to carry out the agreed work, and we share them with a bank, authority or other third party only where that is needed for your matter or where you have asked us to do so.
- If you give us information about other people, you confirm that you are entitled to do so and that they have been told how their information will be used.
- Please send documents only through the channel we have agreed with you, and keep the originals unless we have specifically asked for them.
10Government and Regulatory Disclosures
We may disclose personal information to government bodies, regulators, licensing authorities, courts, banks or law-enforcement agencies where we are required to do so by law, regulation or a legally binding request, or where you have asked us to submit information to them as part of a service (for example, an application to an authority or a bank). We will limit the disclosure to what is reasonably necessary.
11Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information, such as protecting our enquiry form against spam and abuse. No method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We do not claim any security certification.
If you believe your information has been compromised, please contact us immediately at info@skybizconsultancy.com.
12Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy, including to provide our services, to resolve queries and disputes, and to meet legal, accounting, tax and regulatory record-keeping requirements. When information is no longer needed, we aim to delete it, or anonymise it, unless the law requires us to keep it.
13International Data Transfers
Some of the providers we use, such as website hosting, email or messaging services, may store or process information on servers outside the UAE. Where personal information is transferred outside the UAE, we will take steps that we consider reasonable to ensure it remains protected and that the transfer is consistent with applicable law.
14Your Privacy Rights
Depending on the law that applies to you and to the information concerned, you may have the right to:
- ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy;
- ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
- ask us to delete information or to restrict or stop certain handling of it;
- withdraw consent you have given; and
- raise a concern or complaint with the competent data protection authority.
To make a request, contact us at info@skybizconsultancy.com. We may need to confirm your identity first, and we may not be able to act on a request where we are legally required to keep the information or where the law allows us to decline. We will respond within the time required by applicable law.
15Third-Party Websites and External Links
Our website may link to external websites and services, such as WhatsApp, social media profiles and government or bank websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their privacy policies before sharing information.
16Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are intended for adults and businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal information, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
17Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example when our practices, the services we offer or the law change. The latest version will always be published on this page, and the “Last updated” date at the top shows when it was last revised. Please check this page periodically.
